GENERAL

The Campionato della Valle is a double women's tennis tournament based on the double round robin format, consisting of 5 teams.
The double rounds start from the 1st round.

Each match consists of 4 sets, each of which consisting of 6 games.
In the event of a tie, a 9-point tie break set is held to decide the winner of the match.
For each set, in the event of a tie, a 7-point tie break is held to decide the winner of the set.

RANKING RULES

For each team, 3 points are awarded for each victory, 1 point for each draw, then 0 points in case of defeat.
The ranking is determined on the basis of the following criteria:

1. The teams that scored the most points;
2. The teams that won the direct matches. In the event of a tie between direct matches won, the team that has won the most sets in direct matches is ranked first. Finally, in the event of a tie, the team that has won the most games in direct matches is ranked first.
